How Does the Indie Work?

The Indie Theater and Zuzu's Bistro are located at 1717 South Staples Street in Corpus Christi Texas and are connected to each other. Both are open for dinner from 5pm to 11pm Monday-Saturday. During the week we have scheduled movies and dinner is served on both sides as well. Come for dinner and a movie or just dinner tonight! Catering is also available for your next event and you can pick your movie and your menu!
How cool is that?

The Indie Theater is one of the most unique experiences in Corpus Christi and we do prefer reservations if you are having dinner and watching a movie with us. Please make reservations on this Website or call us at 361-882-6324 today. Please come about 15 minutes prior to movie showings. Zuzu's Bistro is also open for dinner but reservations are not required.

We also encourage everyone to become a member of the Indie Theater. The biggest advantage to becoming a member is that you do not pay for movie tickets and you can request your table location any night. Non-member ticket prices are $8 each at the door and seating is first come - first serve.

Watching a Movie and eating dinner together is a unique experience at The Indie Theater. First you will order your starters, dinner and drinks. Our drink selection includes 10 imported beers, 10 imported wines and more. Our great dinner and dessert menu is crafted by our expert chefs and is one of the best menus in Corpus Christi.

Before the movie starts you will be served your drinks and starters. The lights then go down and the movie will begin. Later a 15 minute intermission takes place while you are served your dinner and dessert. The movie will then start again as you enjoy the rest of your great dinner.

Zuzu’s Bistro and The Indie Theater can provide lunch and dinner banquets as well as cater private parties such as Business Meetings, Birthday’s, Wedding Receptions etc…

Pick the Movie and the Menu and have
your event in our Theater !

LUNCH THEATER FEES: Private parties and banquets for lunch require a minimum of 20 people and are not subject to theater rental fees. Please meet with us at least 7 days prior to setup your menu before your luncheon.

DINNER THEATER FEES: Private parties and banquets for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights is $350 for 3 hours. 30 or more guests are required to secure the entire theater. Bookings for others weeknights are negotiable depending on availability. You must meet with us to setup your menu at least 7 days in advance.

BAR: We can also provide Bar Service for your party. There are 2 options for this service. Cash bar, in which your guests pay for wine and beer themselves or Open bar in which the organizer pays for unlimited bar service by the hour. This fee is $150/hr.

We can also provide your private parties and banquets with additional amenities such as:

Wireless Microphones: $25 dollar fee.
Computer Attached Projector: $50 dollar fee.
